UNDERGROUND For underground fuel storage tanks, we offer a superior 100% solids epoxy applied at 125 mils, which can be installed with minimal disruption to your business. This epoxy bonds tenaciously to newly sandblasted metal, creating a chemical resistant shell which could easily outlast the steel tank in which it was placed. Prior to installation, every tank we line undergoes an ultrasonic thickness gauging, using nationally recognized guidelines, published by the American Society for Non-destructive Testing, to determine the structural integrity of the tank. As a final insurance, our corrosion specialist can perform test to determine if your tank will require exterior corrosion protection, using either a galvanic or impressed current cathodic protection system. After the liner is installed, we issue a tank inspection report, an ultrasonic thickness gauging report, and a written guarantee (10 years for the 125 mil lining, 20 years if you also install cathodic protection); these reports will attest to the quality and condition of your tanks in the event of an EPA or state audit or when selling your property.

ABOVEGROUND In addition to underground tank linings, TLI installs, repairs and cleans high-grade linings for aboveground tanks, not only for the chemical and petroleum industries, but also the food processing and pulp and paper industries. TLI also works closely with hydroelectric entities, with special coatings to reduce drag and to improve efficiency and ease of maintenance. In addition, TLI can perform a host of allied support services, such as tank inspections to API 653 Standards, or NACE Inspections on surface preparation and existing coatings. |
